Reflecting and looking to 2020
The end of a year is often a time to reflect on what's been, do some planning or set goals for the year ahead. Lists of ten things people have done or experienced since 2010 have been popping up on socials lately.

What we heard at the launch...
It was amazing seeing our model of great policy advice brought to life by four passionate secretaries and the 235 people who attended.  On the day we had interactive booths, sketching and engagement masterclasses, and policy readiness towers.

Delivering Great Policy Takes Off
On Friday 8 November 2019, over 200 people attended the sold out launch of the Delivering Great Policy initiative. Attendees had diverse backgrounds and roles, from academia, the private sector and all corners of the APS.

A Game of Iteration
Last week was a game of iteration. We took what we’ve learned about the elements of great policy advice, and worked through a bunch of different ways to articulate, so that it’s simple to grasp and people can see themselves in it.

Staying on task
We’ve just come out of that very uncomfortable point in a design-led project where you’re stuck in the middle of everything; you’ve moved away from where you started you’re not yet clear on where you’re headed. Cue the scream emoji.
